Customer Question

I have found a large amount of gas in draining oil from my Murray riding mower Model 465603x92. What would you suggest?
JA: What's the make and model of the mower? And can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: Not sure how old, but year is probably in the model # *****
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: Yes

The carburetor needle valve and float did not shutoff the fule coming from the tank, and flooded the carburetor and went into the crankcase vent, into the oil. Repair needs to be the oil change, and the needle valve and seat and float checked. Or carburetor replaced. If I owned it, I would install a fuel shutoff valve in the fule line from the tank, and keep fuel shutoff between uses.
