What is the engine model? Cut off under use? Oil level ok?
Do you know what coils it has? One small wire, two small wires are the three wire harness.

Typically loosing the spark on a twin engine, makes it an outside sensor or a loss of voltage to the ignition system. Unless it has the fixed timing.
remove the white wire and see if you have spark.
White is the kill wire!
So the kill circuit killed the spark. What safety switches does mower have that would kill spark other than oil ? If can be as simple as bad key switch. That is where the kill is made.
but they do not kill engine. Check wire from keyswitch to coils for a short.
has to be something that killed the spark. Test oil pressure switch, unplug it and try.
So it fixed itself!
So it is using the fuel solenoid in the carburetor to kill engine.
