I have a 17 1/2 hp Craftsman riding mower Modelwhich

Customer Question

I have a 17 1/2 hp Craftsman riding mower Model###-##-####which suddenly stopped running and had a broken ignition switch which has been replaced. There is not any response when I try to turn it over. Battery is good, clutch is depressed, mower is off a driver is seated. What should be the next item to check. Is there a fuse?

There is a fuse. It will have a wire running from the ignition switch to it. Normally closer to the right side of mower while sitting on it. Try and see if you can jump the solenoid and start it. If so, problem is in the switch or fuse
