I have oil pooling on the deck from a Tecumseh engine on a toro personal pace
JA: Can you guesstimate how old the engine is? And has it done anything like this in the past?
Customer: I bought it used, so I do not know the history
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: yes

Customer: The oil level is on the low side when I started and about 20 minutes later after use there is about 1/4 to 1/3 cup of oil in the deck.

Hello, can you explain where it is coming from? There are usually 3 places : the dipstick tube, the breather hose behind the air filter or the oil pan or sump gasket, under the cylinder.
