I have a guardian 4390 15KW generator. The weekly exercise

Customer Question

I have a guardian 4390 15KW generator. The weekly exercise is not working and my battery dies every couple of weeks. I have already replaced the board and the voltage regulator. Any ideas what else it could be. I don't think the built in battery charger is working but this should not keep the weekly exercise from working?
JA: What's the make and model of the generator? And can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: Year 2006 Generac 4390 15KW
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: yes
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: I think that is all I have now
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Small Engine Technician about your situation and then connect you two.

If the battery keeps going dead, either the battery charger or relay is bad, or you have blown a fuse.

If the weekly exercise is not working, you need to try and reset it.

If it will not reset, the main control board is bad.
