130BT blower-starts and idles fine, but will not rev up and seems to struggle to keep running.

Hi my name is ***** ***** welcome to Just Answer. When you cleaned the carburetor did you check the fuel screen in the carburetor

When you cleaned it how did you go about cleaning it ?

Gunk carb cleaner spray can, screen was clean, recleaned carb reass,embled, no change, starts and idles fine but will not rev up

You have checked the arrestor screen , are the gaskets lined up that go between the carburetor and engine ? . Have you removed the gas cap and tried to run it ?

Cleaned arrestor screen on first attemp,on reassembly this AM I carefully alined gaskets and gas cap is clean.

Delay due to out of town 4 day baseball tournament) With gas cap off, no help, still starts and idles fine but will not rev up.

Ok , have you checked the timing key ? , it could be a timing problem . You have covered all the common issues

Its the flywheel key , if it's sheared the timing would be off
