My Homelite weedeater has new gas and a new plug - and it won't start. It's not flooded...

If you remove the spark plug and ground it , do you have spark at the plug when cranking? If no spark, check the kill switch, it may be grounding out the spark. If it does have spark, put a small amount of fuel direct into the cylinder, re-install the spark plug and see if it will start.
