I have a Troy Bilt pressure washer. 3000 psi/2.7 gpm, Briggs

Customer Question

I have a Troy Bilt pressure washer. 3000 psi/2.7 gpm, Briggs and Stratton engine. It starts fine as long as I hole the trigger on the wand. It will keep running and will work as needed. However, as soon as I release the trigger on the wand the motor dies. It will not idle.

Hi my name is ***** ***** welcome to Just Answer. That is a symptom of a bad unloader valve , it should allow the pump to cycle when the trigger isn't pressed , it can't if the unloader valve is stuck
