Hi I have a Ariens Model A19H42 lawn tractor ... well my brother in law was cutting grass ran over a thick patch and stalled it out ... now it won't start . I've made sure the blades are clear and the mower deck is shut off park brake on and in neutral.... is there something else I'm missing ? Hello ??
Expert:  Wayne replied 11 months ago.

Ok under the mower is a pto switch , make sure the wires did not get pulled fro the Clutch or switch

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
The wires look a good and the clutch spins freely .... with the key on and the mower switch pulled the clutch won't spin so that's working properly
Expert:  Wayne replied 11 months ago.

Thank you for that

next thing to do is , check your fuses

the have key on in neutral, and jump the starter

it should start

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
OK I can't seem to find any fuses lol where are the located
Expert:  Wayne replied 11 months ago.

They are usually around the battery

or in the engine compartment

make sure you also do the starter jump, small terminal to big battery terminal

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
K I'll give that a try
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Fuze is good and jumped the starter and still nothing !!
Expert:  Wayne replied 11 months ago.

Sorry for the delay,

if it does not crank over jumping starter

you have no battery voltage, or a wire broke off

it must crank doing this , or like I said no battery , or broken wire

what is the voltage on the starter terminal bid wire

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
No worries ... I had to leave home ... I'm a trucker and I had 7000 chicken to haul this evening .... I'll check as soon as I'm home thank you for getting back to me
