my model#(###) ###-####running on propane. what is the correct ignition timing @ what rpm? also can you give me a round about exhaust temp at manifold or out of muffler would help me determine if it is running lean or not. any info on this would be very helpful, thank you

Timing on this unit should be 35 degrees BTDC @ 1800 RPM.There is no published spec on exhaust temps, as there are far too many variables.

this unit has a 1.5 litre mitsubihi and it runs at 3600rpm not 1800

I am aware of that.The 35 degree @ 1800 RPM specification comes straight from the service manual.
