On Homelite UT43120 chainsaw I am trying to get the slack

Customer Question

On Homelite UT43120 chainsaw I am trying to get the slack out of the chain. The chain is cold and is drooping under the Guide Bar. When I slightly loosen the Chain Cover Lock Knob and then turn the Chain Tensioning Knob clockwise nothing happens. I just turn and turn and turn and see nothing happen to the tension of the chain. What is wrong?

Hello, you may need to remove the side cover and line up the pin in the cover that moves when turning knob and the lower hole in the bar
