My lawn mower engine won't crank, unless you put gas in the carb. Gas is getting to carb, it is a 7000 series( kt745). What do you think the problem lies?

Hello Chris. My name is***** will be happy to assist you. If you are getting gas from your fuel tank, to your carburetor, but your engine will only start if you put gas into your carburetor, many times this indicates that either your fuel shut off solenoid is at fault, or your carburetor needs a really good cleaning.
