I have a briggs and Stratton 19.5 ohc intec and when sitting overnight the cylinder fills up with gas and gets fuel in oil

The carburetor needle valve and float are leaking. If they do not seal, the fuel runs into carburetor throat and into the crankcase breather hose.

A fuel shutoff valve in the line from the fuel tank to the carburetor can be added and shut off fuel between uses. The leak only occurs when engine is not in use.
