When I turn the switch on it clicks but the starter does not

When I turn the switch on it clicks but the starter does not engage I can jump the posts on the solenoid and the starter engages I have bypassed the seat safety switch, no help, what else can I check?

I have a wiring schematic pulled up for your mower. Do you see a small white wire, and a small black wire attached to your solenoid?

Very good! Remove the small white wire from your solenoid, then run a jumper wire, from the terminal where you remove the white wire from , to the post on your solenoid, that have the large red cable bolted to it. I am referring to the cable that goes from your solenoid, to your battery.
