The biggest problem is this motor is a 1970 , so finding one will mean it's going to be used .
Customer: replied 7 months ago.
Is there another motor like a predator or like engine that would work
Expert:  Briggs-Fan replied 7 months ago.
Let me check , I'm sure a 3.5 hp engine would work fine we just have to match up shaft lengths etc
Customer: replied 7 months ago.
If you could possibly tell me the shaft size?
Customer: replied 7 months ago.
Hello?
Expert:  Briggs-Fan replied 7 months ago.
I'm checking , sorry . It looks like it's a 3/4 keyed shaft . But I'm trying to get the length
Expert:  Briggs-Fan replied 7 months ago.

Also out of curiosity is the original motor blown up ?
Customer: replied 7 months ago.
No it actually runs, it uses a little oil and smokes the old man says NSW engine so ....
Expert:  Briggs-Fan replied 7 months ago.
Have you pulled the engine yet . They don't have a ton of info but if we can measure the shaft length we can match it up
Expert:  Briggs-Fan replied 7 months ago.
Worse Case You Would Have To Change the Belt Pulley
