Where do you need to take hose off of? At steering gear, the hoses just screw off the fittings, same at the steering cylinder.

You will have to remove the cover under the steering wheel to get to the hoses.

That doesn't work, the fittings, are behind a plate

Unbolt the steer valve where it mounts on top and drop it down, that should get you enough slack t get hose off.
