Howdy - I have a Troy Built 7550W ( 01925). Last snowstorm it started up, but AC output was intermittent. Like flashing. on/off in .5 secs.

Hello, my name is ***** ***** I am going to assist you with this. What is the question you have?
Customer: replied 6 months ago.
oops, was I not clear enough in the original question?
What could cause the output to blink/flash like a warning beacon?
Expert:  Hank F. replied 6 months ago.
The 2 most likely possibilities there are:1. A bad voltage regulator.2. Bad brushes and/or dirty brush holder. If the holder is dirty, it can cause the brushes to stick, and not make constant contact with the slip rings.
