I changed the spark plug, air filter and treated the gasoline

Customer Question

I changed the spark plug, air filter and treated the gasoline plus cleaned away all built up grass and it is still stalling. What could it be and how would I fix it myself. 5.50 140 cc engine.

Have you drained and cleaned the carburetor float bowl? Make and model of the unit? What engine? Briggs?
Customer: replied 8 months ago.
Have not done that. It is a 5.50 140 cc Briggs and Stratton engine on a Craftsman lawnmower. not sure how to do that.
