What is full engine model number? It will have no computer to reset. The oil level sensor may be bad, or the wires to it shorted, remove the wire and see if the light goes out. If not ,ground the wire to see if light goes out. With light out, see if engine runs. Likely the oil level sensor or wire is the problem.

Do you have spark to the fouled plug?

Customer: replied 12 months ago.
put two new plugs. one fouled out right away, turned black and yes, there is spark to the fouled out plug
Customer: replied 12 months ago.
he checked wires earlier and they checked out good

With spark plug fouling, check the valves in that cylinder for clearance, If valves are ok, you may have a cylinder that has bad rings or piston.

think it could be a weak coil on the fouled side?
Expert:  Curtis B. replied 12 months ago.

does the spark seem to be strong?

Expert:  Curtis B. replied 12 months ago.

You can get a hotter spark plug, which may help the length of time between the plug fouling.

Customer: replied 12 months ago.
sorry, he says that he already got the hottest plugs

They do make what is called anti-oil foulers, which raises the spark plug up, I have used them on auto engines, but never on a small engine. Auto supplys would have them.
