Does the primer bulb get hard? Have you double checked the fule lines for splits? Could fuel lines be reversed? Why was new carb installed?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
No air in fuel bulb
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Because it won't start.
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Thought carb would fix it

Good spark.don't know if the spark is timed properly
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
It does seam to kick back slightly
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Can the ignition coil time the spark wrong?
Expert:  Curtis B. replied 11 months ago.

If you remove spark plug and put fuel direct into the cylinder, re-install spark plug , will it run for few seconds?

Expert:  Curtis B. replied 11 months ago.

Coil has to be gapped at .010, but that is all that is required, the actual timing for the engine , is the key between flywheel and crankshaft.

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Not at all.tried that
Expert:  Curtis B. replied 11 months ago.

Has the compression been checked? Needs to be 140 psi and up!

Expert:  Curtis B. replied 11 months ago.

If compression is ok, then the flywheel should be removed and the timing key checked.

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
I will check that.. Just don't know why it started the first time and then quit. Kind of buckled a little like timing was wrong or something.. Maybe too rich a mixture
