I got a partner 750 husquvarna concrete saw it idles fine but can't get it to rev up it spits s and sputters and backfires if u give it throttle but will idle fine

Hi my name is ***** ***** welcome to Just Answer just curious if you checked the keyway on the flywheel ? . If it sheared a key it will knock it out of time . Another thought is the arrestor screen behind the muffler .Also if the coil has to be gapped did you set the air gap on it ?

That covers alot of what usually is the issue . Was the carburetor pre adjusted with the air mixture screws ?

That's puzzling , have you ran a compression test on it ? Also the coil is the exact part number as the original one right ?
