this mower is gear driven, NOT hydrostat ! and the mower will move forward but There,s NO REVERSE ? I have the Transmission/ rearend out and took apart for the second time ! and really cant see anything wore out ? but i havent got everything cleaned up yet? Do you guys have any suggestions ?..........Thank you in advance !

Transmision just is f/r only. If gears are good, transmission is good. Can you shift the f/r with transmission on the bench and it works ? If so, the problem is the more likley the variable drive pulley.

No its not the varible drive if i push on the shifter hard it will move but you can hear gears grinding ?
