Engine spins, but will not start?

Expert:  Curtis B. replied 1 year ago.

Engine model number? Kohler twin? A carburetor or fuel injected? Is oil level correct? Low oil pressure sender could keep engine from starting.

With twin engine, has to lose spark or fuel. Is the fuel solenoid at the carburetor clicking open as soon as you turn key on? It plugs the main jet and has to open the fuel passage.

Fuel solenoid would be my first look. Is it getting battery voltage and clicking open as soon as key is turned on?
