Customer Question

Have a De Vilbiss 5 kw generator with 1o hp Tecumseh engine. In order to remove piston must remove Rorot connected to the Crankshaft. Question:

Crankshaft is a straight taper end for generator. The rotor will have a bolt that has to be removed from center of rotor, to free the rotor. Some rotors have an internal thread , where a larger bolt screws against the outer part of rotor, and pushes against the crankshaft ,to push it off the crank.
