Hello, and thank you for choosing Just Answer. My name is***** will be happy to assist you. What brand is your mower?

Expert:  Donald replied 1 year ago.

Many times this problem occurs when you have either a faulty seat safety switch, or if the wiring connector that connects to your seat safety switch is faulty. Also, if there is a loose connection between your seat safety switch, and your wiring connector, this problem can occur.

Already done that. I want to stop this service

Removing the wiring connector from your seat safety switch. Clean and lightly lubricate your wiring connector, then firmly reconnect it to your seat safety switch. Start your engine, and try engaging again. Let's see what happens.
