I have a sears craftman 247.88755 snowblower and the drive cable came loose from the transmission and I don't know how to hook it back up. The spring id still on the cabel

Going by this diagram did it unhook from the bottom ?

I found the problem and my snowblower is fixed.

There was a plastic cable clamp on the handle that holds the auger cable and the drive cable in place and it broke in half making the drive cable too loose and it came off.
