I did se a valve guide seal that was not down on the value guide

The lobe on your cam shaft, pushes your push rod upward, in order to pivot your rocker arm, to open your valve. If you rocker arm comes to a stop, before your valve fully opens, your push rod will bend. Your seal likely moved, when your valve guide moved.
