I have a Snapper two-stage snow thrower with a Tecumseh

Customer Question

I have a Snapper two-stage snow thrower with a Tecumseh engine. The snow reel and impeller and transmission are working together and no shear pins are broken and the engine starts and runs. However no power gets to the blowing apparatus. What might be wrong?

Hi, my name is***** will be assisting you.

Most likely there is a belt that has either stretched out or broken between the engine and the auger pulley that drives the auger assembly.

Can you provide a model and serial number from your machine so that I can better assist you with this?
