I hooked battery cables backwards on a cub cadet farm

I hooked battery cables backwards on a cub cadet farm tractor and now have no electric current to anything,what did I mess up?

You blew fuse. Have you checked the fuse panel?

If fuses are good, do you have a voltmeter to test with?

There may be a fusible link at the starter area, which is a fuse soldered in a wire, test for voltage past it with voltmeter, or bypass it for test.

All power for the dash and keyswitch comes off the same post of the starter solenoid that the posiitve battery cable attaches to.
