I would like to confirm something. Are you saying that your starter motor spins, but does not engage and spin your flywheel??

Do you know if your battery is fully charged?

Expert:  Donald replied 1 year ago.

When you have an opportunity, remove your spark plug, and pour about a teaspoon of fresh gas directly into your spark plug hole. Re-insert your spark plug, and try starting your engine again, by pulling your rope. Let's see if your engine will start up and run briefly.

If you have some carburetor cleaner in a can, you can also spray a small burst directly into your carburetor, then try starting your engine by pulling your rope.
