Hello, and thank you for choosing Just Answer. My name is***** will be happy to assist you. How long has it been since you last start your engine?

Expert:  Donald replied 1 year ago.

The clicking sound you are hearing under your seat, is very likely coming from your starter solenoid. Your solenoid could be faulty, or your battery voltage could be too low. If you have a multimeter, I can tell you how to check each. We can continue from here. Thanks!

After running your engine a week ago, did your engine shut down unexpectedly, or did you shut it off with your key?

If you have the time, I would like for you to check something for me.

I would like for you try turning your flywheel by hand. This is just to confirm that your engine is not locked, or your starter gear is not jammed.

no voltage at starter
Expert:  Donald replied 1 year ago.

If you are not not getting voltage to your starter, although your starter solenoid is clicking, this is an indication that your starter solenoid is very likely at fault, and will need to be replaced.
