Customer Question

I have a EZ-G0 golf cart 36V .
I just installed 6 new batteries
The lights will come on, and I can charge the batteries, but I'm not getting
any power to run the motor. Could it be the Solenoid?

Do you hear solenoid click when pedal is pushed?

Expert:  Curtis B. replied 1 year ago.

Do you have a voltmeter to check for voltage at the solenoid? Both big posts with cables should have battery pack voltage.

What is year model of cart? How long since cart ran? Was this reason batteries were changed?

Expert:  Curtis B. replied 1 year ago.

Here is common cart. Power for key has to come from the charger wire, as the switch kills cart when charger is plugged in, and has to make, when charger is unplugged. ???
