Have you removed your left and right belt covers, to check the condition of your spindle pulleys?

What about your idler pulleys? None wobbly, or mis-aligned? Please keep in mind, that these are only troubleshooting questions.

Part #1 in the image above, is your idler arm. If you remove the spring from it, will it pivot freely back and forth, with little resistance.

Sometimes an idler arm will partially seize, preventing your belt from tighten properly.
