If you put wrench on the nut at the pto clutch, can you turn the engine?

Expert:  Curtis B. replied 1 year ago.

If you can, try jumping the single small terminal on the starter solenoid , to the battery cable post on the same solenoid. The engine should spin if battery, cables and solenoid and starter are good.

Expert:  Curtis B. replied 1 year ago.

Seat switch, brake switch, and pto switch all will keep starter from engaging.

I am certain it is one of the switches, I think it is the seat switch or PTO Switch. How do I confirm which switch it is
Expert:  Curtis B. replied 1 year ago.

Seat is two wire switch, just tie the two wires together.

Expert:  Curtis B. replied 1 year ago.

pTo, switch it on as off as you hold key in start position.

new battery, oil full, engine spins freely. Seat sensor wires tied together. When you turn the key, nothing happens.

could he relay cube for the PTO be bad?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
could the relay cube for the PTO do this to me if it went bad? Seems like it did that to me a few years back
Expert:  Curtis B. replied 1 year ago.

It should only affect pto operation. I assume you have good fuse in the ignition circuit???
