Do you know 36 volt club carts? My cart will not run

Customer Question

Do you know 36 volt club carts? My cart will not run sometimes. Seems something is going on with the accelerator. Sometimes when you press the peddle it runs just fine, other times it will not move. The batteries are good and the lights work just fine. Its only the accelerator. Someone has told me it kcould be the accelerator switch causing the problem.

Do you have a voltmeter to test the foot switch and solenoid? The foot switch has to close the solenoid, If the voltage gets to the solenoid, the solenoid is the bad part. Solenoid is a common item to fail on cart.
