I have an 11P902-0127 washer with a part number of 216 that is loose on the carb side and I do not find where to attach it. I believe it is part of the choke, but I cannot find an attachment hole. Thank you

216 on the illustrated parts list of B & Stratton. It is a part number 796485 Link - Choke. I cannot find where to connect it from the engine?

That rod hooks up in the round thing in this diagram , it's a thermostat that opens and closes the choke
