Fuel pump on my Craftsman riding mower is pulling oil

fuel pump on my Craftsman riding mower is pulling oil through the breather tube from the crankcase and leaking out the breather screen on the fuel pump. just replaced the fuel pump.. Help

Is oil over full or thin from gas contamination?

Is the crankcase vent hose open to the air intake?

If the vent line , just before the carburetor, is restricted, the oil goes out the fuel pump screen!
