Hi, my name is***** will be assisting you.

It sounds like the float valve is not sealing properly in order to shut off the fuel flow coming into the carburetor. Did you replace the float valve and seat?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No. Just pulled fuel bowl installed new plastic float and o ring and carefully, without disturbing anything else bolted bowl back. Now gas pours out from top of bowl

The float valve is normally attached to the float so when you pulled the old float out you may have lost the valve or needle. I would go back and check to make sure that the float valve is still there it is inserted into a hole in the body of the carburetor along the same side as the pin that holds the float in.

then? If I can't find it do i get a rebuild kit? ?
Expert:  JohnF2015 replied 1 year ago.

Yes, if you can't find the float valve, then you would need a rebuild kit in order to fix the leaking problem.

Thank you it has been a pleasure to assist you.
