Customer Question

Hello, I have an LX-172 which is frying the 15 amp fuse on the ignition switch board which is the one (of two) that must connect the circuit for the starter. I have gone over and cleaned/lubed any connections I can find...any ideas. Thanks Tim Curtis***@******.***

Fuel solenoid in the carburetor and the voltage regulator, are on the same circuit. Check both of them.

Regulator can be unplugged, but fuel solenoid won't let engine start if it is unplugged.

Where is the voltage regulator and how do you check test both?

# ***** I think it is on the firewall behind engine.
