Customer Question

We have an MP84B lawnmower powered by a B & S 3125 engine.
Model number(###) ###-####1 111 14ZX. We had a problem recently and I had to take off the electromagnetic blade clutch as it had become rusty. I have cleaned it up, but when I put it back on, although it spins freely when off the machine, as soon as it is tightened up, the engine seizes and the whole thing stops turning. Have you any idea what may be causing this

Hi, my name is***** will be assisting you.

The clutch was working okay prior to removal and reinstall? I would first be sure that it is reinstalled with everything lined up properly. The only other thing that might cause you trouble is the bearing in the top of the clutch. If this bearing happens to be locked up or tight it would cause this problem.
