It has oil pressure switch, is oil level full? Try removing oil pressure wire, to see if engine still dies.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Okay I'm headed home I will try that

Ok I do have a question before I do the other and maybe I caused this problem by accident I added fuel cleaner to the gas and I feel like the mower is running too hot should I drain the gas and start over with new gas 1st?
Expert:  Curtis B. replied 1 year ago.

I would not be concerned about the fuel additive! It should only help!
