Solenoid would have voltage on both terminals. Solenoid just connects them together. Does it close when you press the pedal?

Do you have voltage to the keyswitch?

Expert:  Curtis B. replied 1 year ago.

The keyswitch gets power from the carts charger plug.

No voltage at key switch. Can't hear the solenoid close when depressing acellerator

Did you see the keyswitch diagram?

Power has to come from the charger plug.

Expert:  Curtis B. replied 1 year ago.

There is switch in the plug that cuts out drive when charger is attached. If switch does not close when charger is unplugged, the keyswitch gets no power.
