Customer Question

I have a JD D170. It has been wonderful until this week. I can start it and run it on 'choke' but as soon as I switch it to full power, it hesitates and shuts off. I can even run the blade (uneffectively) on 'choke' mode. Any suggestions?

Hi, my name is***** will be assisting you.

It sounds like you have sucked something into the carburetor which is causing a fuel restriction which will not allow the engine to run properly without being on choke. I believe that you will end up having to remove and clean the carburetor.
