Customer Question

I have a 1976 ez go 3 wheeler, ser. # ***** My left side rear wheel has locked up. How do you remove the axle in order to inspect/replace the axle bearings. Do I have to get into the punkin to do this or are the retainers on the outside of the axle? thank you

Welcome to JUST ANSWER small engines, let me try to help you !! With wheel and brake drum off, there will be a snap ring holding the axle in place. Remove the snap ring and use slide hammer or other tool to remove axle and bearing. No need to remove the center cover.
