It sounds like you have replaced about everything that could cause a no spark condition on the engine. Is there a remote switch on the machine that is wired into the ignition for a kill? I would be looking in that direction because it sounds like there is something else that has the ignition grounded out not allowing it to fire.

i found a rectifier. it reads one direction. why does this have a rectifier? it does not have a battery.

Does your machine have and electric clutch? Normally the rectifier or diode is only used in a DC volts line where you would not want anything passing backwards in the line. A charging system would be the only place you might see this on you machine. The only reason you might have a rectifier is to keep voltage from passing backwards into the stator or alternator and damaging it.
