Hi my name is ***** ***** welcome to Just Answer. It could be a few things. A engine needs spark, fuel and compression to run. Try venting your gas cap, if the gas cap is not breathing correctly it can vapor lock the motor so try loosening the gas cap and see how long it runs , if it still does it we will need a spark and compression tester to check the coil and valves etc
