My drive belt jumped off my mower, put a knew belt on,but it has slack in it.I put a new spring on it . could not visibly see anything bent.Is there wheel base spec's or distance from rear end to motor pulley. JOHN DEERE D140 RIDING MOWER. OR ANY SUGGESTIONS MY NAME IS*****

There will be slack if the brake is locked. Make sure you only use JD belts. Aftermarket belts don't work well on these. After market belts can be up to a 1/2 longer and won't work.
