My mower blades are not turning, I checked the vacuum actuator

Customer Question

My mower blades are not turning, I checked the vacuum actuator and that seems to be functioning, could my belts need tightening, if so how do I do that? I have a 2001, 3000 series. I also took the deck off the tractor and cleaned the under side, and greased all the lube fittings.
Thank you so much for your help,
Mark

Is belt tight when when installed?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Hi Curtis, I had the local farmer come by and take look, he did an adjustment on the mechanism that engages the belt (actuator) and like magic it solved the problem! thank you for your offer to help.
