Welcome to JUST ANSWER small engines, let me try to help you !! 1/2 quart in a full fuel tank, will not hurt engine, it will smoke some, but will not affect engine or operation!. Have you cranked engine?

If oil mix is more, it will foul the spark plug! you may need to drain the fuel and replace the spark plugs.
