Customer Question

John Deere 930a zero turn does not start after working in the rain. Have crank light and wrench light on and it flickers. Yellow fuse replaced connectors cleaned with electrical cleaner. Has spark at fuse but engine knocks. Almost sounds like the firing order is damaged.

Hello Curtis,
Sent Machine to John Deere dealer. We figure it was ignition switch. They will look at it first thing in the morning. The banging was from the starter hitting the flywheel. Not sure why but they will look into it. The battery is new and fully charged. Connections are clean. All other electrical connectors have been cleaned. Thanks for your help but machine is in use at three times a week and I thought I could find a cure or a band aide until the our Canadian holiday was over. Stephen
